Surfs up!! Fresh to the market is this simply stunning 1971 Ford XY Falcon GT replica. Starting out as a South African XY GT therefore equipped with genuine GT items such as the radiator support and exhaust hangers. Using mostly new parts throughout the restoration this XY is most certainly on the higher end of the scale when it comes to GT replicas. Prior to the Surfer Orange colour being laid down a windback sunroof was supplied and fitted by Option 10 which definitely adds desirability. All the chrome and mouldings were also re done prior to fitment. New stripes and badges have also been fitted. Under the hood lives the original 351 4V D block Cleveland engine stroked to 408 cubic inches housing a host of goodies that result in a whopping 507 horsepower at the wheels. A Top Loader four speed gearbox and genuine XY length 9 help get that power to the ground. No stone was left unturned when it came to the interior neither, with retrimmed seats, new rooflining and carpet as well as door trims. Still retains the genuine Super Fringe push button radio also. As you would expect the car rides on 5 slot wheels with red wall tyres. Look underneath and you will see a beautifully detailed undercarriage with all parts either restored or replaced. Built in April of 2016 and purchased from Biti Motors in Culcairn NSW. Finished in beautiful Victory Gold with all the exclusive Sprint extras such as badging, striping, rear spoiler, and original Sprint wheels. Sporting the famous 5.0 litre Coyote Supercharged Ford engine that pumps out 345 kilowatts which is 462 horsepower in standard form and with 400 kilowatts and 535 horsepower with overboost which will slingshot this Sprint from 0-100 in approximately 4.5 seconds and 12.6 in the standing quarter!! Only 750 examples only ever produced in the Sprint model and this car is build number 106. Of the 750 XR8 Sprints made 51 were produced in Victory Gold Metallic. Built in April of 2016 just months before production ceased on the iconic Falcon Ute model. Finished in striking Kinetic Blue. A small selection of Ford accessories has been added such as a bonnet protector, left and right weather shields, a polished aluminium roll bar, front and rear mudflaps and lastly tinted windows all add nicely to the appearance. This AC Cobra replica is based on a South African produced chassis by Hi-Tech / Superformance. With gleaming black paintwork and matt black Cobra style stripes. To keep with the race theme numbering and stencilled tyres suit this Cobra perfectly. Also sitting on period correct Halibrand wheels. Originally built and owned by Sash, renowned car restorer and engine builder from AN Racing in Sydney, the car features a 364 cube Windsor engine pumping out 580hp at the flywheel. The engine is made up from a Dart block, Scat crank and rods, JE pistons, custom roller cam, AFR 210cc heads, Victor Jnr intake and lastly a 925cfm Pro Systems carbie. Helping to get all that power to the ground is a four speed Top Loader and a Jaguar Tru Trac rear end. Stopping power is taken care of by Jaguar discs all round.
